What is Game Galaxy?
Game Galaxy is Budapest’s unique retro arcade event venue, located at 38 Ráday Street. It’s a place where, at a corporate or private event or team-building program, you can relive your childhood. The venue is available exclusively for private hire and cannot be visited with regular tickets.
How can I book Game Galaxy for my event?
First, please send us an inquiry at info@flippermuzeum.hu.
If you haven’t been here before, we’ll arrange a visit at a pre-agreed time to show you the venue. After that, by paying a 100% advance, you can reserve an available time slot that suits you by clicking on Event Venue.
Where can I see photos of the venue?
Photos are available here in several different resolutions.
What are the rental conditions?
Game Galaxy rental fees for up to 3 hours*:
- Up to 30 people: 250,000 HUF
- 31–60 people: 300,000 HUF
- 61–90 people: 350,000 HUF
- Above 90 people: 450,000 HUF
All listed prices are net prices with 0% VAT.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE SEASONAL PRICING.
Optional extras:
- Beyond 3 hours, each additional started hour costs 75,000 HUF.
- If your event involves extended preparation time beyond the event itself, a 90,000 HUF availability fee will be charged (for example, but not limited to, loading/unloading, catering setup and breakdown).
- For more than 3 hours of setup and/or dismantling, an additional 30,000 HUF per standby hour applies.

I’m curious about Game Galaxy’s services. What does the price include?
There are no hidden or additional costs! Everything you need for an unforgettable birthday, event, or team-building program is included: projector, screen, sound system, microphone, and catering infrastructure, all available at our unique and stylish venue, Game Galaxy.
You can also use on-site technical support, as well as any additional bar tables, chairs, or tables you may need — all included in the base price.
Dining is supported by our 30-person American-style diner area (we have our own tables, chairs, and bar tables for up to 80 guests). And of course, 70 pinball machines and other arcade games are available unlimited, all included in the price.
No coins needed — you can’t even insert money! 🙂
I’d like food and drinks at my event. What do you recommend?
- Our own catering partners, who can handle everything from the most complex to the simplest gastronomic needs
- You may bring your own caterer
- You may bring your own food and drinks, or order food and beverages from external providers
- You can order fantastic cold sandwiches from the nearby Nándori Pastry Shop
What are the basic details of Game Galaxy?
- Address: District IX, 38 Ráday Street
- Total area: 426 m² (gross), with reinforced air circulation
- Separate men’s and women’s restrooms
- American-style retro diner dining area
- A large hall housing 70 machines (50 pinball machines and other arcade games)
- Bar area and entrance hall
- An additional large arcade room — helping you feel like a kid again, usually in record time 🙂
I’m a caterer — what should I know before the event?
- We have a back-of-house (hinterland) room for storage
- Parking is usually possible on the opposite side of the street
- Open flames are strictly prohibited on the premises — gas chafing dishes are not allowed; please bring electric chafing dishes
- Buffet table layouts can be discussed with us in advance; we’re happy to adapt to your needs or make suggestions
- We do not provide plates or glasses
Until what time can events be held?
We kindly ask our guests to finish their events by midnight at the latest.
How can Game Galaxy be reached?
- By car: A parking garage is conveniently located right next door
- By public transport: We recommend Kálvin Square, a major transport hub with several metro, tram, and bus lines, about a 10-minute walk away
What rules must renters follow?
Game Galaxy was created from the spacious basement of a residential building. Maintaining a good relationship with the residents is essential to us, so we kindly ask you to follow these simple rules:
- Please do not take drinks outside to the street
- Music-and-dance events are not permitted
(Music may be played at a cultured volume, taking into account the ambient sound of the 70 machines) - Please do not stop to chat on the staircase leading to the entrance
- Please be especially mindful of residents when outside on Ráday Street
- Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited, including smoking-imitating devices
- Open flames are strictly prohibited (candles, pyrotechnics, chafing fuel heaters, etc.)
- At the end of the event, the renter must remove all accumulated trash (paper plates, cups, bottles, etc.).
Failure to do so will result in a 15% waste handling fee
